The bank owned homes can usually close quickly and make up over half of what is currently closing in today's market.  The short sales can also be good bargains - but be prepared to wait for the lender to appove the sale (it can often take 3-4 months).  And most of the other sellers have lowered their prices to reasonable prices.  Don't miss out!
