Price My Home
Bette Bock Humenick - Lyon Real Estate

Bette Bock Humenick

It is almost beginning to feel like Fall! Apple Hill is already starting to open. I love this time of year. The Christmas rush hasn't started yet, the rains are yet to come and the end of 100 degree days is within sight. Schools are back in session and the market has slowed a bit, giving us Realtors a moment to breathe. Our inventory is still low, but there are still many homes coming on the market, but we are seeing more price reductions lately, as well as many homes falling out of escrow. If you are a Buyer - WRITE A BACKUP OFFER if the house you love is already in escrow. If you are a Seller - TAKE A BACKUP OFFER. My most recent Seller was able to easily move their backup offer into first place when the first buyer was unable to move forward. Our El Dorado County inventory has moved down from last July which was 5031 homes on the market, to this July's 4405, our low was in February with only 2554 residential listings.

I am happy to be in my 15th year of selling Real Estate, 30th year of living in El Dorado County and 35th year of being married.  It's a Great Year! I recently closed my 18th escrow this year, a house that had been listed off and on for 3 years with different agents. I was so happy to get it SOLD for my sweet Sellers. Life is Good!

Have a wonderful 2017 and give me a call if I can assist you with buying or selling - or both!

Thank you!
